OSC has a highly-motivated team of coaches, trainers, and team members that participate in local and regional races as a member of the Northern California Outrigger Canoe Association (NCOCA).

Getting involved in the racing program
If you are new to paddling and you want to get involved in racing, start by participating in our recreational programs. By participating in recreational paddling, you will learn basic paddle technique and develop paddling stamina and fitness. If you find that you want to further your paddling skills, attain a higher level of fitness, and want to compete; you may want to join our racing program. If you are interested in racing and are ready for the next level, let any of our recreational coaches know of your interest in racing, and your coach will recommend you to a novice program.
If you are an experienced outrigger canoe paddler, contact us, and you’ll be referred to one of our coaches.
