Enjoy our ocean environment and marine sanctuary while you learn about the timing, form, and power it takes to move the canoe efficiently through the water with 6 paddlers. We are one in the canoe (teamwork)! You will also learn water safety, parts of the canoe, ocean stewardship and will be on the water for most of the class.
Paddles and PFDs are provided. Be prepared with the proper water resistant clothing (no cotton). Some level of fitness is required! Most of all prepare to have some fun!
This class is taught by members of Outrigger Santa Cruz canoe club.

NO refunds will be given if you cannot attend, but your payment may be applied to membership dues.
