Please join OSC ohana in creating a memorable day on the water for children and teenagers who have lost a sibling to cancer. Jacob’s Heart Siblings Forever Program fosters resilience through participation in creative and fun activities. Jacob’s Heart counselors will lead an ocean based ‘paddle out’ ceremony filled with fun, celebration, lei and flowers.

Time: 12:30pm – 3:30pm
Volunteers are needed to help in being a buddy in the boat and on the land, hands on in preparing and launching OC6’s, and of course paddling and steering. Prior to launch, Families and Counselors will be be making lei and decorating canoes to be used in the paddle-out. Flower and/or foliage (cuttings from yards are perfect) clear tapes, and florist wire are welcomed donations. These may be dropped off anytime Sunday morning to OSC’s site.
