Movie Night – “Family of the Wa’a” documentary

Date: July 31, 2022
Time: 7:00 pm  to  10:00 pm

Ohana Movie Night evening of Sunday, July 31st;  outdoor private location!

OSC Matt Muirhead is looking forward to sharing the back story of the documentary, Family of the Wa’a.  In addition to the documentary, he will bring some good visual info and maps and a few ‘surprises’ to share.

Matt is the founding Director of the Hawaiian Voyaging Society.  The purpose of the Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Voyaging Society is to perpetuate through education and experience the Hawaiian culture of traditional long distance outrigger canoe voyaging throughout all the Hawaiian islands; to uphold the unique and fragile beauty and power of the ocean; to practice an obligation of responsible stewardship and harmony between man and nature; to strengthen cultural and spiritual connections to the Hawaiian islands; and to experience the harmony, strength and respect that arises when men and women of all ages paddle a canoe towards a common goal.”

Team Snap RSVP.  In ‘notes’ please indicate if you would like to bring guests and number.  Seating may be limited.

Further details of the event will be shared closer to the date.
