Notes: (2/5/2025, 11:30am)  The OSC Aloha Fridays paddle group has first priority for using the current OC6s, which are currently 3 Specs.  As of this Wednesday morning, Aloha Frday has enough sig-ups to occupy 2 of the 3 canoes.  Their sign-ups close at 4pm on Thursdays.  I will check in with their leadersip that evening to let you know if the timing on this reservation needs to be changed or if a Spec is available for you to use.  The Unlimiteds and double hull are on staycation, only used when there is an overflow in Sunday Rec Paddle and Saturday Fitness paddles.

“With the inclement weather forecast several folks dropped today.  We were planning on 2 boats of 5 but there was a no show putting us at 9.  Along with the Head Coach we decided to switch it up and covered the 2 Specs we had readied and went with the Unlimiteds.  It was drizzling but the water was flat and calm.  We lined up close together in the harbor, turned on government, then back to dock.  We did this three times giving steerers practice at a variety of skills.  Sorry if we broke protocol, but we made this decision based on safety.

Aloha Fridays

We are a laid back group of experienced, vigorous paddlers averaging 1.5-2 hours on the water…7-9.5 miles. Our goal is team work, a great workout and fun; all in the Aloha Spirit.
