How to setup and use PayPal Here to sell OSC merchandise
Download the PayPal Here app.
Go to the App Store or Google Play on your phone. Search for PayPal Here. Download and Install.
Sign in to your account.
Sign in with the account name we give you NOT your email address. For example oschelper1. Use the password we gave you. You may have to click on the three dots in the upper right corner and pick Switch Accounts if you had logged in as someone else before.
Activate your swiper.
If you have never activated the swiper, click on the menu icon and select “Have a new reader?” and follow the instructions depending on the type of swiper/reader you have.
Make a sale.
Along the bottom edge of the screen are three icons. The first one is a number pad, the second one is a calculator, the third one is the items list with prices. Pick the items list. Add items to the sale by tapping the items on the list. When done tap CHARGE at the top of the screen. For a credit card swipe the mag stripe or insert the card into the chip reader. Have them sign on the screen. For cash sale select cash from the menu and enter in the amount.
They can pick the options for getting their receipt.
If you can’t swipe the card for some reason, you can pick the option to enter the card number manually, but this will cost more in fees so please avoid it if possible.
