Notes: This is a team building activity for Zach’s Men’s Team. Signed waivers will be placed in the shed, and the $120 check will be dropped in the club mailbox before they launch.
Aaron uses a wheelchair with no use of his legs. He feels that a backrest seat (and a life jacket?) will give him enough support to paddle comfortably. With assistance from someone in the canoe, he believes he can board from the dock; wheelchair will be stored off the dock during the paddle.
Guests have been prepped to either bring their own personal life jackets or OSC will fit them with a club life jacket.
Doug E. and Nick C. will both serve as steerers and co-leaders for the event, deciding the float plan, organizing crews, and monitoring weather in case conditions require a reschedule.
